Meet The Chef
Chef Gael Lecolley a formally French trained chef is an award-winning celebrity chef with many accolades in the art of culinary distinction. He has travelled the globe in his continued pursuit of the Farm to Table movement with his latest venture at The Pear Tree Inn, featuring Pear & Olive a 23-seat scratch kitchen with botanical bar, highlighting and showcasing the chef's desire for fresh, local, seasonal, unique, premium quality ingredients. Expect his passion of Farm to Fork, Artisan Scratch cooking to be thoroughly present in every bite, while meandering through an exploration of unique flavours showcasing beautifully presented dishes.
You will find him most days in his Chef's Herb garden on premises, making notes of what will be used in the day’s menus, or walking through the country side searching for game with his dog Olive, or at local Farm markets searching for just the right seasonal fruit or Veg for the dish that day.
The chef delights in combining old fashion cooking styles with new modern techniques, guests often stop and chat with the chef in his intimate open style kitchen on the way to their table, - he's always happy oblige and give a great tip or recipe to try at home.
